We attended the South Australian Wine Industry Association awards dinner at the National Wine Centre. It was a wonderful evening of celebration and connection.
We wish to congratulate Pernod Ricard for winning the SAWIA’s 2023 Environmental Excellence Award in the Large Winery Category. This prize was awarded in recognition of their sustainability framework and roadmap, which includes sustainable packaging programs to deliver their targets for 100% recyclable, compostable or reusable packaging by 2025.
Equally, we wish to congratulate Jordan Roesler from Treasury Wine Estates for winning the 2023 Work Health & Safety Excellence Award in the Individual Safety Champion Category. Jordan was recognised for his leadership with winery safety culture by continually challenging himself to learn and contribute to safer outcomes. This included leading the site changeover from old to new gas monitoring units used in confined space entry and emergency response.
Both awards were presented by Helen Stamation and proudly sponsored by Tarac.
